This page is dedicated to the seat belt law in the State of Tennessee.  Officers conduct road blocks and give citations to individuals who are not wearing their seat belts as required by law.  As more information is available, it will be posted on this page.  Routinely, the police officers conduct roadblocks expressly to check for seat belt violations.  If you do not wear your seat belt while in the Calhoun City Limits, you are subject to receiving a citation.  These citations will cost you approximately $105.00.  It is clearly more economical to wear your seat belt.  It might even save your life!
