The Calhoun Public Library is located in the Calhoun Municipal building. It is a 900 square foot community library which provides it's patrons with recreational reading materials. The Library also provides access to the Internet and offers resource books for in house use. There are 5 public use computers all of which are connected to the Internet. A recent movie titled "The Day After Tomorrow" highlights library values. Check it out of the Library and note that in mankind's worst storm event, the safe haven was a library. To save their lives, the stars used books.See movies have subtle truths, you just have to look for them. Borrow it today and see how you like it.The Library also provides Internet access for the Police Department and the Fire Department.
Library Staff Mrs. Roxanna Carman is the current Library Director. Mr. Timmy Womac is the Assistant Librarian. Mrs. Cindy Duncan is also an Assistant Librarian Library hours are as follows: Monday 9 AM to 6 PM Wednesday 9 AM to 5 PM Thursday 6 PM to 9 PM Friday 9 AM to 5 PM Saturday 9 AM to 12 Noon The Library offers meeting space after Library hours. Please contact the Director to schedule such a use of the Library facility. |
